This piece nicely demonstrates my love of an internal logic that when examined piece by piece doesn’t seem to hold up but somehow makes perfect sense when viewed as a whole. A yellow curve intrudes on a horizontal line, a green one passes over a vertical line and bends its top. Everything lines up but it isn’t immediately clear why.
