Tangerine is a modern mixed media wall sculpture, constructed from MDF, acrylic and varnish. The bold but limited monochrome color palette emphasizes the form and composition over a broad color palette. I designed this piece to be somewhat reminiscent of past influences (mid century modernism and Art Deco) while also nodding to the future. The result is a stunning retro-futurist sculptural piece that will command any room. The name references the bright orange and teal colors which suggest a tropical climate or the skin of a tangerine or orange. Wired to hang and finished on all sides (Besides the back).
