Talisman is a mixed media wall sculpture made from maple veneer, mdf, acrylic, metallic gold enamel and finished with wax. The bold black, white and wood palette is visually striking, however the organic wood tones allow the piece to not be too cold and stark. The surprising chartreuse accent pieces bring visual interest and compliment the palette. Like all my pieces, Talisman nods to mid century modernism by combining sleek modern design with organic wood tones. Wired to hang.
