75" x 42" x 1.25" (Three Pieces with negative space).  Pigmented lacquer on Birch.  Solar Trees IV is a modern abstract three piece wall sculpture made from acrylic, birch and satin lacquer. This is the fourth version of this piece which were incorporated different color palettes. The piece was inspired by the flowing organic lines of mid century modern design which combined bold colors with the warmth of wood grain to evoke a futuristic and forward thinking aesthetic.
