Jester is a mixed media wall sculpture made from repurposed walnut, maple, mdf and found objects (60 year old wood shutters) with acrylic paint. Jester features a modern rustic vibe which allows it be both playful and sophisticated at the same time. The colorful palette and organic wood tones create a sense of peace even thought the composition is quite busy. While I usually do not recommend hanging my work vertically or horizontally (I usually suggest one orientation), I believe this piece can be hung both ways, though I feel the vertical is slightly stronger.The title comes from the bold color palette which reminded me of a court jesters outfit.
